Stop 1: Table Mountain (2 Hours)
Table Mountain is famous for its flat top, resembling a table. It is one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature. Portuguese explorer Antonio de Saldanha was the first European to climb the mountain in 1503 and named it “Taboa do Cabo.”
Stop 2: Cape Town Central (2 Hours)
Cape Town was founded in 1652 when the Dutch East India Company established a refreshment station at Table Bay. The fertile land and stunning backdrop of Table Mountain made it an ideal location for settlement.
Stop 3: Robben Island Museum (4 Hours)
Robben Island, located 12 km off Cape Town’s coast, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It once served as a maximum-security prison during apartheid. Nelson Mandela and other political prisoners were incarcerated here. Today, the island is home to wildlife like rabbits, guinea fowl, and penguins.
